Nayri collects no personal data. The App has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics and no advertising, and the Owner runs no server it could send data to.
Everything you enter stays on your device. A copy lives in your own cloud storage, alongside the backups of your other apps. The Owner has access neither to your device nor to that copy.
The operator of the App is Emir Khakimovich Vakhitov. You can get in touch at lifeosapp@yandex.com.
While you use the App, the following is stored on your device: the age you entered during setup, your bedtime and wake time, sleep diary entries, journal entries and their to-do lists, the state of the evening checklist, which articles you have read, the time of the last change, and settings: the breathing technique and its length, haptics, reminders, the pause between words and the length of the audio session.
This data is kept in the App sandbox on the device and is not transmitted to the Owner or to third parties. The App does not request access to contacts, location, microphone, camera, photos or health data.
The App uses no cookies, no advertising identifiers and no third-party analytics libraries.
So that your entries do not disappear together with the app, Nayri keeps a copy of its state in your own cloud storage. No separate sign-up is needed for this, and none exists: the account your device is already signed in to is the one that is used.
On iPhone this is a key-value store in your iCloud. The copy is handled by the operating system: it is encrypted in transit and at rest and delivered to your other devices signed in to the same account. If you are not signed in to iCloud, no copy is made.
On Android the same job is done by the system backup to your Google account. On devices running Android 9 and later that backup is encrypted with a key derived from your screen lock, so not even Google can read it.
The copy contains only what is listed in section 2 and nothing beyond it. The cloud storage is operated by its provider (Apple or Google) under their own terms; the Owner has no server, no keys and no credentials with which to reach the copy.
The copy can be turned off: Sleep window → Data → iCloud copy. Turning it off deletes the copy that has already been made and stops the App from reading it. On Android the copy is governed by the backup settings of the system itself.
The file with your entries lives in a private area of storage available to the App alone and is encrypted by the operating system: while the device is locked it cannot be read — not by another app, and not through physical access to the storage.
In the app switcher the App shows its wordmark instead of the screen. An open journal entry ends up neither in the system snapshot nor in front of whoever picks up the phone.
There is no networking code in the App at all, and in the Android build the internet permission is struck out of the manifest — even if a third-party library tries to add it. The promise that your data does not leave the phone is held by a build rule, not only by this text.
The App uses no cryptography of its own: the encryption is done by the operating system, and its keys are beyond the Owner's reach.
Reminders are local: they are created and shown on the device, and the App uses no push notification servers. Permission for notifications is requested separately, and the App works without it.
Practices are voiced by the speech synthesiser of the operating system. The text is spoken on the device and is not sent anywhere; the App picks the voice itself from those installed in the system, and there is no setting for it.
Individual journal entries are deleted inside the App with a long press.
To erase everything at once: Sleep window → Data → Delete all data. The command removes both the entries on the device and the copy in the cloud; it cannot be undone.
Deleting the App erases its data on the device but leaves the copy in the cloud — that is what the copy is for. If you want to leave for good, delete all data inside the App first and only then delete the App itself.
Since the Owner does not hold your data, there is no separate deletion request to make, and nowhere to address it.
The App is not intended for children under 13 and collects no data about them — nor, for that matter, about adults.
A new version of this policy is published in the App. If data is ever passed to the Owner or to third parties, it will be stated here before that happens.
